As many of you know, there are several fires currently burning in the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. So far, the fires are north of us here in the city of Napa, so the shop is still operating. Unfortunately, the homes of both my sister and Emily's parents are threatened, as are homes and livelihoods of many of our friends and local customers. Almost every hour, we hear of another lost property or business. In an effort to help, we are donating 10% of all retail sales in October to two organizations that do important disaster relief work here in Napa and around the world. Please use the links below to order online or donate directly. Thank you to everyone for your kind emails and support. Wendy and the entire La Foret family Based in the Napa Valley, Monica and David Stevens have been helping evacuate and re-home animals large and small during disasters since 2014. They and their many volunteers are an essential part of our local support network during times of crisis. To learn more and donate, please use the link below. During the fires in 2018, Chef Durfee from the CIA and I cooked for evacuees and first responders at a temporary kitchen set up by World Central Kitchen. They do great work feeding people in disaster areas around the world.
